SERVICE DESCRIPTION
The Managed Lands Deer program provides landowners with added flexibility in deer harvest to more quickly achieve property goals. A Plateau biologist will guide you through the MLD Permitting process to ensure you understand the requirements and responsibilities of participating in the program.
Plateau will coordinate with the appropriate Texas Parks & Wildlife staff. All necessary paperwork will be filled out and filed with TPWD. An existing Plateau or TPWD wildlife management plan is required, as well as a current year’s deer census for those in the MLD Conservation option. Prior census and harvest data are required for entry to higher levels of the program. Includes submission of landowner-provided harvest data to TWIMS for landowners who do not already have a TWIMS account.
