A 1-d-1 open space valuation for bee keeping is very similar to what’s required under Ag: the primary use of the land must be for agricultural production, property must have been devoted principally to agricultural use for 5 of the preceding 7 years, and intensity levels of production (as dictated by your CAD) must be established. As with Ag, you must also keep accurate records of all your bee keeping activities (honey production, maintenance schedules, etc.) to show the CAD you’re meeting their requirements.
