A Message about COVID-19 Virus
Dear Valued Landowners and Customers,
Plateau Land & Wildlife is always committed to everyone’s complete health and safety, as well as ensuring that your land and wildlife activities remain our top priority.
We’d like to provide a few company updates during the current challenges of COVID-19 and hope that you and your families remain healthy during this critical time.
Plateau Land & Wildlife Management, Inc. is an Essential Business under all local orders issued to date, to the best of our knowledge, and in compliance with EO-GA 14, issued by Governor Greg Abbott, is conducting business in a manner to “minimize in-person contact with people who are not in the same household.”
Plateau is a provider of Professional Services necessary to comply with legally required or mandated activities for both businesses and agricultural landowners subject to Texas property tax law. Under Texas law, the services we provide are considered an agricultural use. Agriculture is one of the 17 sectors identified on the DHS Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce List.
Our employees and contractors are generally working outdoors, in rural areas, and alone. The ability of our employees and contractors to travel to properties is necessary to meet deadlines and maintain compliance with property tax laws and rules and implement agricultural services. From time to time, it is also necessary for our office staff to travel to and from our office for the purpose of preparing and mailing printed tax filings and reports in a timely manner. Regardless, if another person is present employees are required to follow CDC guidelines on good hygiene and social distancing including:
1. No physical contact – stay 6 ft. apart at all times.
2. Do not enter homes. Conduct all business outside.
3. No sharing a vehicle compartment.
4. Use sanitizer and wash hands before and after a visit as soon as practicable.
Plateau Land & Wildlife Management will continue to follow applicable laws and orders during this difficult time, and to the extent the government instructs us to stop working we will comply immediately. We have also asked each employee holding this letter to immediately follow the instructions of any authorized officer, even if such instructions are to return home.
If you have any questions or need any additional information, please contact us at 512-894-3479.
Sincerely,
Your Team at Plateau Land & Wildlife
